Question / Help OBS not installing

I am old as dirt, I am not a computer wiz and I am trying to install this program for my 11yr old daughter for her little youtube channel. I was able to get it to work on my computer, but we just got her own gaming computer. When I click the .exe installer I get the message that my
system is missing the two vcredist files. Well I agree to go download them (as I did over a year ago on my computer) but when get there (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784) I get this message
We're sorry, this download is no longer available.

I then proceed to search the net for the files. I find them and "install" them. These do not work.

It appears I now have to installed Visual Studio now, is this my next step?

Thanks

Thick headed Dad...

Hi I had the same issue.
Looks like the latest OBS Studio is compiled using the Visual C++ 2013 distribution, so you require those to get this to work.
Also turns out Microsoft has removed them from their regular download links and pages.
However, I found them through some searching on Microsoft.

Download these and try again:
