Question / Help OBS not detecting vcredist_x86 (and x64) SOLVED

Well I have installed vcredist_x86 and x64. I have tried restarting my pc but it keeps telling me that said components are missing. (my pc is running offline so that may be part of the problem.) I am running window 6.1 (Windows 7) and I am using the windows 7 installer, it just seems to be unable to detect the vscredit files.

Now you may be asking if its offline how did I get the installer to the pc, I used a small USB to transfer the file from my laptop (could this be part of the problem?) I have also tried the portable zip install, that was such a mess, OBS may have been installed but I just got application errors.

I'm not really sure what's causing this so I hope you, whoever is reading this could help me out.

If you get application errors with the ZIP version then that suggests that the VC redistributables are not correctly installed. Try searching your Windows folder for copies of MSVCR120.DLL and MSVCP120.DLL, delete / move them and then re-run the VC redistributables installer.

I've been working on it for a while the setup is taking quite a while, I'll tell you if it works as soon as its done.

(also im getting errors with the .exe install, zip version had the same issue though so i'm trying it anyway)
