Question / Help OBS not capturing audio and recording in small videos.

Hi, I love using OBS. I have ran into a problem that is really annoying me.
OBS used to capture my audio fine with no problem. Then all of a sudden, the green bar for my voice didn't move anymore. I'm not sure why.

Then when OBS updated on me and records my videos have been recording in small videos. Right now I'm editing a video that recorded in 22 tiny small videos, for just one game of Town Of Salem. Now OBS also used to record my games fully in one gaming session with no problem.

Also this isn't me. Due to the fact I don't mess with OBS that much during recording. I just click record or stream, then I go about my business. Sometimes I stop the game if I feel the game has gone long enough. I'm sure that isn't the problem.

For the mic issue, it sounds just like a misconfiguration. Make sure it's configured correctly, double-check to make sure the correct mic audio device is set in audio settings and such.

The "lots of small videos" thing sounds like you may have accidentally set a hotkey to the start/stop streaming or something. It doesn't make multiple videos unless you yourself press the button to stop/start recording.
