OBS not capture game footage in Windowed Mode

Hello,

I'm having an issue with OBS in that it is not capturing a game I am playing in windowed mode. The game I'm playing is Chocobo World from the Steam version of Final Fantasy 8. I want to be able to upload this footage to youtube, but when I select game capture, it won't record the image (getting a black screen).

I've since attempted Display monitor and while that works, it captures everything on my desktop when all I want it to record is the game itself.

Is there a fix I can try that would get OBS to work the way I want it to?

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

first log to take a look why capture not work,
for the display capture workround if you press "ALT" and then dran the outer corners of the display capture you can "crop" the record area to the game area down and without "ALT" exand to "full"
