Question / Help OBS not broadcasting Logitech G930 microphone

Hi there,

I noticed tonight that OBS is not picking up my Logitech G930 headset microphone. When I was streaming in the morning it was fine.

Here are some things that I have done already:
  • Reinstalled headset driver
  • Reinstalled OBS
  • Restarted PC
  • Used another USB device with mic (Logitech webcam mic works in OBS)
  • Changed and removed OBS mic hotkeys (to no avail)
  • G930 mic is set as default recording device

Here are screenshots of my settings:

As you can see on the last screenshot, the Logitech G930 mic is being picked up on microphone noise gate. I am clueless as to why there is no sound being broadcasted.

The next screenshot is of me yelling at the microphone while background music is playing during Preview.

Any help would be great. I don't want to have to use other software because OBS is the most reliable and best streaming program I've used.

Update: It turns out that microphone noise gate was the problem and after disabling it, the mic worked perfectly. The only problem I have with disabling noise gate is that people will hear the background noise.

Im currently having a similar if not the same issue, it works for a few minutes and then it will cut out, and the stream will either hear me very static or not at all, and all the log window says is that it was behind time stamp by 10 seconds, over and over again. iv looked in the settings and the use timestamp box is unchecked to begin with....
