Hey there,
I've already made a thread about this a couple of monthes ago, but I'll give it another try right here because there was no real outcome last time.
---
I'm using OBS v.0.651, so the currently newest version. The thing is, that when recording / streaming / previewing, there are no mic peaks:
There is like a little moving green area that symbols that there actually was something, but it doesn't get bigger when I speak and when I record and watch the video, there's no sound. The sound that's recorded "within my computer", so the sound I hear, works perfectly fine.
The mic I'm using is a large-membrane, so it's plugged into an Audio Interface rather than directly into the PC via USB. So this is my Settings --> Audio window:
Pretty much the standard setup, I just changed "Microphone/Aux Audio Device" to the name of my Audio Interface.
I've read a thread on Reddit about this problem, where there was the hint of unchecking something in Windows' sound properties: so this is my Windows recording devices setup (sorry for the German names):
The checkbox the thread creator was asked to uncheck is the second one (so I appearantly did it). Unfortunately there was no response by the creator whether or not it worked. At least with me, it doesn't.
I know that it's not a problem with my mic, since I successfully use it in TeamSpeak etc..
Hopefully someone can give me a hand. Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Baustein
