OBS no longer recognizing audio from my focusrite

I have been using the focusrite scarlett 2i2 for over a year with OBS for dj livestreams, never had issues...until this week. Now when I play audio OBS does not recognize or register the audio. I did not change a thing. I have looked online for answers and I have had no luck with the solutions offered. Has anyone else dealt with this? If so how was the issue resolved?

have you add new usb devices to the setup ?
