OBs need to have at least 4 options to stream: output and monitor, output only and minotor only and off.

i don't know why would someone need to monitor his own voice on his speaker. i don't see the point. when you start talking you want to output it only. I am having that problem now. If i don't output my voice ,other program as such butt radio will not capture my voice.

Because Monitor is NOT just for a microphone/own voice. For example, I used Monitor to hear audio from a pre-recorded content I was mixing in with live content. For reasons explained in other posts you are on, you'd know I disabled Desktop Audio at a global level, so the way for me to hear such content is via Monitor

Make sense , but again why not just output your voice without monitoring it. it is nice to hear any audio you play, but you don't want to hear yourself. do you?

I think you're confusing what "Monitor" and "Output" really mean. "Output" is not a generic term here, even though we still use it that way. The actual option in OBS perhaps should be called "Stream" instead.

As I've said elsewhere, there is only one non-streaming output from OBS, and that's the Monitor. If you're also calling that the Output because it technically is, you'll never get it right.

Correct, and that is why my other Audio Sources are set to Monitor and Output, while my mic (its own Audio Source, not via Desktop Audio {which I disabled}) is Output only
