Question / Help OBS Multiple Audio Track Recording, not working 100% of the time?

So I've been toying with OBS for a while and recently, I experienced an entire day of not all three of my set audio tracks recording at the same time. I have 1 track set to my mic, another to discord and a third to desktop/game audio. When I had moved the file into Adobe Premiere Pro, the 2nd audio track (discord) had not recorded anything at all. Whats even stranger is that in the same recording, at the very beginning when I clicked 'start recording', all three tracks were displaying audio being recorded from their respective sources (buddies were talking while spotify was playing and I tested my mic) and was captured in the recording, so I was convinced it was working and felt no need to test it extensively before starting. I had not changed any settings before or after this day, but my recordings from before and after were fine. Though the problem seemed to have fixed itself, I would like to know if there is anything recognizable about this issue that may have caused it. I lost an entire day's worth of recording over this and I'd rather not waste more time over this.

Ok. This is not the answer to your question post. I saw this and thought I'd toss my a very similar problem and hope we both could get help at the same time.
Hope you don't mind be doing the piggy back thing on your post.
However, here is my similar issue....
Tried to do an A/V recording today. The quick and dirty setup I chose for this effort is typical for YT endeavors. I've two powered pencil mics and a Beta 58 setup for this. They are run through a 4 channel Akai EIE Pro USB interface. This is all setup mono. Using the OBS software. (by the way OBS, thanks tons for a huge great certainly affordable software package for us all).

I recently did a tutorial video that produced out perfectly. Today, with literally the same exact setup, and I mean so exact, all I should have needed to do was to throw the power to it all. But the one small difference is that the update notification came on screen. I opted to update. NO, I didn't do any recording prior to the update during this session.

The result of this recording session was literally low to no audio through the BETA 58.However, all things in regard to monitoring was perfect. I could hear the mix and all three mics wonderfully in my headphones monitoring during recording as well as before I hit the record button. I futtered about with it for sometime to no success and or avail. So I then tried closing the OBS and using just one of the many audio recording software that I have. All was well in just audio recording. All three mics recorded independently on three channels. My three mic setup is like this due to the effort being a 100% acoustic recording of the instrument. The BETA 58 is only used for spoken word and not singing.

I changed things around in every imaginable effort as far as hookup and such. But when using OBS, I could only get the 1 and 2 channels to record. If I shut down, rebooted everything, and hooked into channels 3 and 4, I got little to no signal to OBS but nicely through my monitoring headphones.

I'm typically fairly proficient with the setup I've been using. However, OBS is a new toy to me and I am quite puzzled why it seems to suddenly on record on channels 1 and 2 no matter what I've done so far. My guess is that it's my error not having the right setting in play somewhere in my setup.
But by dingy, I am lost and I really would like/need for this to work.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
But this does sound like the same, or very similar issue the OP has posted about.
Oh yeah and also. Oddest thing. When I am all hooked and setup, my gain controls on my USB interface have absolutely no effect on the input levels to OBS. The only 2 channels working seem to have a mind of their own when it comes to input gain. I can control the input gain in OBS though. This behavior is hugely puzzling as if my interface is simply a throughput rather than anything else. Very odd IMHO.
Thanks in advance, RDB
