Question / Help OBS MP with laptop settings

not sure if this is where to post this but I've been kinda going blind for a while now i thought i had it set up fine for a while. by just looking at guides and others problems but i thought its time i actually buck up and upload my own logfile and actually talk to someone.

now i notice pixelation during high activity. i'm using an hdpvr2 with a ps4/ps3 I'm during 720p 30 on a core i3 laptop with a cap card. using obs multiplatform. logfile included of the stream included.

set your audio format to the same across the board. currently OBS is set to 44100Hz your capture card is set to 48000Hz and windows playback and recording devices is set, who knows what.

set all audio format to the same. 48000 would be fine if you can verify that is what your speakers and mic are using as well.


if these are not set the same, audio encoding will need to be done which will add extra to the encoding process.

no? try 2500 bitrate but note that things like grass and trees will be harder to decode

what can i do to help decode grass and trees? and high action i remember a battlefront stream looking outright terrible. better pc?

a desktop i7 can lower the preset to give more time encoding but at the cost of a lot of CPU usage

ah okay so. i should be fine sticking with streaming from my laptop. i fixed the audio issue i believe. i didn't up the bitrate yet since this was for a lets play that i wanted to make sure the vod stayed drop frame free. it was low action being a telltale game. but i'll test that out tomorrow with battlefront since last time battlefront looked like garbage on stream last time. here is the file from tonight. oh and thanks for the help btw much appreciated!
