Those are OBS logs, but are you getting actual crash logs? As in, something that pops up when OBS crashes and asks if you want to see the log?

What kind of capture card are you using? You just said AVerMedia, is it an LGP?

Have you tried different USB ports, in case the issue is USB overload?

I have avermedia LGP that works fine on the normal obs... it has nothing to do with the device, the webcam works fine and the aver media running at the same time in the same usb ports on obs but its nothing to do with the device...

If i add any video device the software crashes when i try to add a second, i dont even get to select a device it crashes as soon as i press ok on the naming window

to directly answer your question yes i have tried it in multiple usb ports but as i mentioned above both devices work fine together in the standard obs

and it isnt just these devices any devices

i use the lgp stream engine for the video feed from the aver media aswell

Try Disabling your VAC. Either its not running and you have it loaded in your scene or its not hooking. That's the only error I am seeing in the Logs.

All the lines was enabled i disabled them because it caused a weird buzz sound when i had it on and it was causing the sound on games to spaz out and like judder but on recording/stream there was no judder but on my ears there was, so i disbaled one of the lines and then it sounded right in my ears but i found out after the recording didnt sound so good...

but i didnt even have vacs installed when i got the error the first time so i know its not related to that..

i will disable totally and try it again but i strongly think it has nothing to do with it

as it 100% crashed every time i tried to add a 2nd video source even on a fresh windows install with all required drivers for graphcis and sound installed and every thing for obs and just obs intalled

Removed all the audio inputs, disabled all the line ins and outs on my pc

Just wanted to show id tried what you suggested

as a random thing the software crashed when i opened it just now, like open, crash, close, open-work fine until i add a source

I don't know. You're literally the only person I've ever seen with this issue, so it has to be something going on with your hardware, capture devices, USB, or drivers.

There is no issue with obs standard and any input devices?

The issue isnt the devices though because i dont even get a chance to select a device the software crashes before i can select a device

i have done a totally fresh windows install and reinstalled all up to date drivers from disk and website for the mobo and such and every thing else is working fine, all games run fine, obs run fine just the obs mp that doesnt allow me to add multiple video devices... it lets me record and every thing else works its just the video devices there has to be a bug in the software no? if all hardware and computer are functioning right for your other software and every other software on the pc?

how can it be a fault with the controlelrs for the usb but it works on standard obs and all devices work fine in all other software

all i have got plugged in is a usb mouse and keyboard, the aver media and a webcam that is all that is plugged in

I am going to try and remove the cap card from source add the cam first then the cap card again maybe this will work

and it cant be related to usb ports because im not picking a device the software crashes when i click add source and press ok before i select a source
