OBS mixing up multiple cameras

I have two webcams plugged in to my streaming machine. When I start OBS it seems to randomly decide which webcam is which e.g. sometimes the webcam of me show the display from the other webcam. Windows and other apps are fine with the two cameras and never get them mixed up. Both cameras are identified by windows as "UVC Camera" so I was wondering if OBS is using the camera name rather than a more unique identifier for each camera? I have tried switching which USB slots the camera's are plugged in to but this still does not always works (it seems random after a reboot). Is there some way to prevent OBS swapping the cameras around or alternatively get a fix in OBS so that it identifies the cameras in a more reliable way?

NOTE: The log files show one of the camera failing to load. This seems to happen when OBS thinks that both cameras are the same camera.

Thanks for the response. I guess we need to find a way of uniquely identifying the web cams via the data that Window's provides.
