Started playing POE2, been having long gaming sessions over the weekend. Decided to use the "split" recording method, to make it easier to delete chunks of recording while not deleting others (in case something needed to be highlighted in a section).
Unfortunately, and I will need to test this, I started noticing my game stuttering and in one case my GPU crashed. I thought it was my GPU (but it's a new GPU?) This next time it started stuttering I checked my thermals on GPU, perfectly fine. Then I checked task manager and saw that OBS was using up all the RAM that it could, and also read/writing to disk like crazy. I tried stopping my local recording, but it refused to stop, so I had to task kill it to stop.
Turned off the split method, started everything back up again and my read/write and RAM usage looked normal and nowhere near all my RAM (32GB). Played for a couple hours, didn't run into any issues. However, need to double check with another long session, these sessions ranged from 6 - 7 hours, to see if the issue still persists since I turned off "split".
I was splitting every 60 minutes.
