"obs malfunction/breakdown, normal mode or emergency?" even if im opening the app for the first time in my day

basically whenever i try to open obs it shows it "malfunctioned" somehow and shows me the options to open in emergency mode or normal mode. whenever i try to open it it any of these modes, it doesnt show up on my screen whatsoever. in the task manager it says its running but i cannot interact with it or anything.

before that though, i was trying to configure my obs to make my streams smoother and less laggy. it seems before my reinstallment i clicked something wrong and it caused the problem, im not really sure though. any kind of help is really appreciated, thank you.

OBS likely hidden to tray. Try to look near the Windows clocks for the hidden icons - OBS icon is there, just click it (right-click menu also should work OK). If this the case then you likely wrongly set OBS to always start minimized to tray in the OBS settings.

This means that previous run of OBS was aborted and application wasn't closes properly (either was forced task ending or program crashed).
