Hello! I tried streaming Silent Hill 2 the other day, and I have the game set up to run in 1080p due to something called SH2proxy, which adds various previously nonexisting options to the game. (More info on it, here https://github.com/emoose/sh2proxy)
The game runs just fine on its own, however when I boot up OBS and try to capture the game, Silent hill 2 crashes.
I get no error message, it just says sh2.exe has stopped working.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Is the problem perhaps that the game is forced to run on one CPU core in order to start up or is it something else? Do I maybe need to capture it in window mode or something?
Please help ASAP! :(
Also, I have a Windows 8.1 and am running 32-bit OBS.
EDIT: If I run it in windowed borderless mode it can start, but I still get a black screen.
Any fix for this? :( I want to actually be able to stream this so badly!
ANOTHER edit: Crap, I switched to window capture and running the game in windowed borderless mode and it works like a charm, sorry for creating this thread lol but I pretty much just solved my own problem. Hope this can help anyone else who has the issue. :)
