OBS makes my webcam glitch out when I try use game capture.

I’ve been trying to solve this for weeks now and nothing has helped. I tried the discord sever and they didn’t even know. So what happens is I load up OBS my webcams working great no problems what do ever. Then as soon as I load a game up on game capture it starts to glitch out. I have no idea why and it’s super annoying. When I used the Xbox game pass app earlier for a game it worked with no problems but if I use any other app to load game capture it’s just glitches my webcam. Please someone help me! You can kinda see the glitch in the photo below.

i dont use the Logicapture app as it does'nt load correctly. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling many times but juts looks the same. I dont see why it should effect it though as i never load it up when i use OBS

Have you or can you try the cam on another PC
What other USB devices do you have
So this happens with any game then
Have you tried Display capture or Window capture for games

Could try reinstalling DirectX

so when i use the xbox games app it seems to be fine and the webcam does'nt glitch out. but any other app such as steam or battle.net it just glitches as soon as a game is loaded. its very strange and i feel i've tried nearly everything to solve this. The camera works fine as i thought it was that at first so i got a replacment, but its still the same. i have a stream deck, Razor mouse, steel series keyboard, Xbox wireless dongle and a steelseries headset wireless dongle. alsp how would i re install direct X ?

My Pc runs fine on every other application and game, its more than capable. Just seems to be OBS.

My CPU is brand new only a month ago and works perfect.

The errors in the log seem to indicate OBS isn't able to decode the data stream from the webcam because of data errors. So try a different USB cable, and try a different USB port, preferable one that's directly connected to the PC and not through some USB hub.

I have done this and still makes no difference. i originally thought that was the problem.

Mjpeg on my webcam settings seems to be the problem. this has gone on for months and i cant stream because of it and no one seems to have a solution.

Ive unistalled and reinstalled OBS and chaged usb ports to every port in my pc but no different

Think it’s a windows problem. Anyone have any idea as it glitches in Logitech capture app too when a game is running. Honestly really starting to piss me off now as I feel it will be like this forever.
