Hello, I decided that I want to stream on Fortnite and I installed OBS, setted up everything correctly got into fortnite to test how it is and I had a huge frame drop. I oppened Task Manager to see what part of my pc is struggling and I saw that it is the CPU. It was using 85-90% of my CPU and 35-50% of my GPU even tough it was on NVENC. Than I closed OBS and I saw my GPU usage increase and my CPU usage decrease. After that the frame rates go back to normal. Can anyone help please?
PC SPECS:
CPU- AMD Ryzen 5 1600x
GPU- Nvidia GTX 1070 MSI Gaming X 8GB
RAM- 8GB

I would guess that Fortnite's framerate is more dependant on the CPU's single-thread speeds than the GPU in your case. OBS grabbing the video could be slowing down down the game's main cpu loop, essentially making it ask the gpu for a frame less often.

Keep in mind the NVENC encoder uses a separate portion of silicon on your GPU than the part that renders 3d graphics, so using it won't necessarily make your gpu usage graph go up, depending on what particulars task manager is measuring of course.
