obs losing internet connection while streaming

Hi people,
So basically every time i stream obs lose connection and reconnects back and cause delay. yesterday i streamed for about 5 hours on facebook and it happened again. i do not understand what cause this interruption and thats why im here.

Your OBS logfile does indeed show that it is losing connection to the server; there's nothing OBS can do to change that though. It could be any number of things, from the remote server rejecting the connection, to an intermediate hop having excessive packet loss to the point of forcing a connection reset, to your router/modem being unable to handle a sustained high-throughput connection and closing it (or just crashing it and recovering).

OBS is functioning normally, trying to talk to the server, and something on your system or connection is cutting or dropping the connection. Not something that changing the OBS settings can correct.

hey thank you for your respond.
i bumped up my bitrate from 7k to 8k and changed preset from slow to very fast and that solved my issue. did 2 streams and not a single lost connection over 16 hours of stereaming.

I tried that method but my internet goes Unstable after that. My internet Provider is Horrible.

@TheQuakeJPNA Enable Dynamic Bitrate before streaming. Settings > Advanced > Network. If still having issues

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...
