I've seen a few threads of concerns, questions, and complaints
concerning the Logitech family of wecams in conjunction with
OBS. As with any input device, one needs to take a look into the
technology to diagnose the issues as I have seen described.

If you choose to run multiple Logitech c930e cameras with obs,
you will quickly learn that all the mathmatical theory does have
It's place.

At this stage of the game, you will most likely want to install a dedicated
per host controller with multiple USB 3.0 5gbps theoretical throughput.

This is how I handled the issues with Arch Linux.

All USB 3.0 cables for the above

Although you may have multiple USB inputs on your mb, you
Are not permitted true maximum throughput due to the limits
of the shared controller in most cases. And with video, this is
almost always unacceptable. By placing a 1144C in the mix,
you can run multiple c930e cams provided the rest of the hardware
has decent specs as of this writing.

Also wanted to mention that the Arch Linux box described above is 64bit with rt low latency kernel. I wouldn't attempt audio without, much less any attempts at serious 1080p vid cap.

Very nice.. I installed an 1144c on my win7 64 machine and it seems to have solved my 'flicker' issue while running two c920's and two c930e's.
Thanks for the recommendation.

You should write this up as a Guide so that people can reference it easier. Good info, this comes fairly frequently.

Edit: Ahh crap Isocuda bumped an old post. I may have to link to this thread in the future though.
