Thanks !

1080p60 is not going to happen streaming with qsv would need way more bitrate than twitch allows and depending on the games you stream you might get away with 720p60 on an i5 but to be honest 720p30 is probably the best you can achieve without figuring out everytime what settings you should use for the currently played game.

streaming settings with your hardware would be the following

downscale by 1.5 1280x720
fps 30
filter whatever you think looks better (3 filter 3 test streams)

cbr=checked
bitrate/buffer around 2000-2500 (should be enough for most fast motion games on 720p30)
audio bitrate 48
audio codec aac

cfr=checked
preset veryfast

everything else should be fine with default.

I will test it out when i get home. Thank you for helping but i have 1 more question, isn't there any way to stream 1080 30 frames ? Because i use 1080 with 60 frames for local recording and it works perfectly.streaming needs more performance than local recording?

I also want to mention that i stream on youtube not twitch.

local recording with ultrafast preset takes almost no cpu while 1080p30 at least maxes out sandy bridge i5s while playing wow so assuming you play games like league of csgo which need more cpu than wow you will run into problems ... yes ivy bridge and haswell i5s are way better compared to sandy but its still only i5 and if you dont want to run into performance problems 720p30 is the way to go

I undertsand,I did a livestream and i played cs:go with my settings and it was kinda laggy,but on minecraft it works fine with 1080 30 frames.

I play mainly minecraft,so i think that it won't be a problem :)

yeah minecraft is really easy on the cpu so that wont be a problem at all except if you run a lot of mods then stuff changes

bitrate/buffer shouldnt really go over 3500 so i would suggest staying around 3000-3500 always keep bitrate and buffer the same

I understand,thank you very much !

One thing that you didn't specify and it may be important is the aero theme or however is it called,does it needs to be disabled ?

since you didnt post a log nor mentioned what os you are running i was assuming you are on win8.1 which doesnt care about aero

but if you are on win7 then aero can cause problems in some cases mostly when trying to use monitor capture with aero disabled but if you are using game capture it doesnt really matter if aero is enabled or disabled except if you have performance issues then turning aero off can give you slight increases for window capture you would need aero enabled to have window capture work properly
