Hello, i have the latest version of OBS and copied some settings from a youtube video for 1080p 60fps. When i start the recording i get really choppy gameplay and no matter if i lower obs settings or game settings it wont make a diffirence. I tried copying multiple tutorials but i had no success there. Any help would be gladly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

System:

CPU: i7 4790k at 4.4 ghz.
GPU: GTX 980ti
RAM: 16 GB DDR3 at 1666 mhz.

Settings:

And for the settings you can watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtK9Kk-XVAc
or i just use NVENC H.264 Encoder , at a Constant Bit Rate of 50000. I use Two Pass Encoding. And Base and Canvas res are at 1920x1080 at 60 fps on sharpened scaling 32 samples.

Ok i found a fix that worked great for me. My OBS isnt recording the best gameplay because i messed up my settings but heres what i did. As long as you have the latest windows it works. Heres what you do

Go to the settings for windows (Press Start>Settings). Go to the "Gaming" Tab. On the left column, click on game mode. Turn "Use Game Mode" off. Don't see any drop in FPS or performance and obs records gameplay much better. Its not perfect but looks actually watchable.

Hope this helps you!
By the way, I couldn't use display capture, do game cap or window cap. It works better for some reason.

Gaming mode being on is definitely a common problem with Windows 10 (creator's update)

I'll try and disable it. I do not have the creator's version, i have windows 10 pro. But if there is a loss in quality that kinda sucks. Thanks for your time though.
