Question / Help OBS Lagging & Not Responding

A few weeks ago, we were preparing to run a live broadcast for work, and I was having major issues with the software itself lagging. This was before we even started streaming; simply clicking around in the program, making sure Scenes were set up correctly, etc. Selecting different scenes (and even navigating in settings or other controls) would take up to 5 seconds and transitions were obviously choppy.

The log file from that day is attached. I tried reducing the number of scenes and sources, as well as closing all unnecessary programs in case I was overworking my computer, but that didn't seem to help. I do a lot of heavy lifting on this laptop (like video editing and streaming with another software) without any issues, so if it's my machine, I need some advice about what would need an upgrade.

This is an ongoing issue, but I can't replicate it with enough consistency to fix it myself. I'm new to using this software, so maybe there's just something I'm missing in how I need to configure OBS on my computer. Thanks!

You are most likely overloading your USB bus with too many high resolution/high FPS cameras, it's throwing errors

10:45:36.165: DShow: Run failed (0x800705AA): Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.

Reduce the FPS to 30 for both USB Capture devices,
Reduce your OBS Video output to 30 as well
Set your Encoder to QSV (QuickSync)
