Question / Help OBS Lagging if i get a phone call

So i use Ooma for my telephone service which uses my internet for phone calls. i notice that whenever im streaming and get a phone call, my game spikes to 1200 ping and lags badly

is there a settting to make it so they dont conflicT?

Check how much bandwith your phone call takes and let it free, a bit more if you can. What is your download&upload speed? And stream settings?

This is normal if you're using a VoIP provider's router. They don't know how fast your connection is, so to to make sure their service works well they will throttle other traffic during a VoIP session. It's best to use your own router to avoid this, and plug their router into yours.
