Question / Help Obs lag windows 8.1

I have run obs a while and love it but recently with my upgrade to windows 8.1 I get occasional lag spikes and my stream is laggy. I'm hoping its fixed shortly or and update occurs. If anyone has a fix feel free to help me out ty!
