Question / Help OBS lag, crashes, black screens

Every time i launch OBS before or after my game or interact with any other program (including OBS itself) that i touch on my pc, it freezes and then blackes screens my whole PC for 2 seconds, then crashes my game. The program itself is very laggy and choppy, unbearable. I couldn't find any solutions why is this happening, i just reinstalled the program, and it still very slow. I have good PC specs, lowering settings doesn't help and i'm using the latest version of OBS. I basically cant record anything because my games keep crashing before i can capture it. Please help

Something weird is going on with your computer. I've literally never seen this error before in an OBS log:

18:21:20.311: Device Remove/Reset! Rebuilding all assets...

Rendering lag usually means GPU overload. I would check your drivers and be sure the card is properly seated if you're having crashes on game launch.

All of my games run fine 60fps, they only crash when I have opened Obs, and not evening recording, my screen goes black and current game then crashes. It's not the gpu. Obs at launch is like below 20fps and I can even barely move the window, my whole monitor flickers black everytime I open or use another program on my computer, things like Google Chrome.
