2017 iMac is having issues running OBS and Streamlabs. It was running ok then I started having issues as I started to produce content. I've played around with the bit rate and output scale and it's still the same result. The delay is massive and I can't even record content because the produced footage is terribly laggy. I figured this machine would be adequate enough to run a couple scenes on OBS and that was the case but not anymore. If taken away filters and elements but the CPU usage in OBS reads a lot lower (15%-20%) than when I was checking the CPU usage in Clean My Mac (higher 60%-80%). OBS runs a lot smoother on my DELL laptops. I plan to upgrade ram +32 to see if that helps, any suggestions? please don't suggest downscaling or anything to do with frame rate, that is beating a dead horse and at one point my OBS worked clean. I believe this is system related not OBS settings related. OBS feedback before recording or streaming is laggy from 4K capture card.
