Question / Help OBS keeps cutting off after recording(fixed)

as the title says obs keeps cutting off after i end recording (ex. i record for a 1min it cuts it off to 40secs) It's very frustrating since i didn't have this problem before. If i can get some help with it that would be great. :) Log is attached. Any help would be amazing.

18:29:27: Total frames encoded: 2161, total frames duplicated: 2006 (92.83%)
18:29:27: Number of frames skipped due to encoder lag: 2000 (92.55%)

1080p is way to much for your laptop, downscale to 540p and set the preset to superfast. set a custom buffer to 0.remember these are local recording settings, not for streaming :)

the custom buffer actually fixed it :3 thanks a lot for the help :)

The preset and the downscale fixed it. the custom buffer just gives a higher bitrate for your recording.

Not that these setttings are not to be used for streaming, only local recordings :)
