Question / Help OBS keeps crashing

Hey,

Had an issue that was resolved a few weeks ago but unfortunately now have another issue. Every time I stream OBS randomly starts dropping frames RAPIDLY and then crashes and I lose internet connection for about 15-20 seconds and then everything comes back online. This has never happened before until about 4 days ago. No idea what is going on. Here are links to recent logs: *I apologize for the repeated replies that will show the logs*

EDIT: Yes I read the pinned thread and none of the solutions either worked or were the issue.

** Just tried to stream again. After about 5 minutes it happened yet again :( Here is the log:

I believe that it is not related to my internet as I am able to play online without any interruptions. I'm not very tech savvy, but in looking through the logs it appears that it fails to load certain modules and that it cannot connect to the twitch server. I tried choosing a different server but no luck. Any ideas on what to do?

There's a few things in the logs here that jump out.

First, and not directly related to your issue, is that OBS is starting up on the wrong GPU on your laptop.

Code:
16:58:08.950: Loading up D3D11 on adapter Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 (0)

Check this guide here on how to set it to run on the dedicated GPU. You will notice a drastic increase in overall performance, and Window and Game Capture sources will work properly. However, if you require Display Capture note that this will no longer work, as it is required to run on the Intel iGPU.

This, however, is more relevant to the issue you are posting about:

Code:
17:36:18.312: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Interface: This Killer Ethernet Controller connects you to the network. (ethernet, 1000 mbps)

and

Code:
17:34:50.568: WriteN, RTMP send error 10054 (4097 bytes)
17:34:50.568: WriteN, RTMP send error 10054 (79 bytes)
17:34:50.568: WriteN, RTMP send error 10038 (42 bytes)

Killer network cards are widely regarded as, to put it in technical terms, complete and utter trash. They are absolute bottom of the barrel, terrible, awful, horrible, painful devices.

That said, there is still a small amount of hope! Download the driver pack from http://www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads/category/other-downloads, completely uninstall all Killer NIC items from the add/remove programs control panel, and install their driver only package.

And lastly, as stated several times in the connection issues guide we have, OBS just simply cannot be the cause of connection issues. We understand that it's very frustrating, and often OBS is the only application that seems to be having issues, but please understand that streaming over RTMP (what OBS and all major platforms use) is very sensitive to connection hiccups, where most other network connected applications are FAR more lenient when it comes to interruptions, and recover much more gracefully. This is not something that OBS can fix, this is the nature of the streaming protocol itself.

Thanks for the reply! I'll give that a shot and see if that helps. I actually tried streaming straight from my PS4 and had a similar issue. Some of my viewers think it could be someone DDoSing since this has never happened in the several months I have been streaming, but i'm not entirely sure. Appreciate the advice and hope it works. Tried streaming again tonight and kept getting booted repeatedly and random times.
