Hi there, since I updated to v. 0.51b, OBS keeps crashing for me, and I have no idea why. :( Sometimes, it crashes before I even manage to get into a game in SC2, and sometimes it'll let me play for a few minutes, before crashing.

OBS has encountered an unhandled exception and has terminated. If you are able to
reproduce this crash, please submit this crash report on the forums at
http://www.obsproject.com/ - include the contents of this crash log and the
minidump .dmp file (if available) as well as your regular OBS log files and
a description of what you were doing at the time of the crash.

This is what it said when it crashed:

This crash appears to have occured in the 'c:\program files (x86)\obs\libx264-130.dll' module.

Try to delete the OBS folder from program files and re-install OBS. Seems like that file causing problem is not updated

You don't need to reinstall. This is an issue with x264 that we are looking into. Can you try enabling CFR and let us know if that fixes it? Settings > Advanced > Under 'Video'

I've been recommending this to a few people now, seems to be working because I found the bug in x264 -- turn on "Use CFR" in advanced, should stop it from happening for the time being when you see an x264 crash like this. I'm going to have to have to fix it in x264, and then submit a patch to the x264 project most likely

You're hijacking a thread from April/May 2013, not a thread from 2016.
Your issue likely is no where near the same as what is in the thread.
