Question / Help OBS Keeps crashing with VST plugins from www.meldaproduction.com

I hope someone could help me out.

I recently installed the free VS" plugins from www.meldaproduction.com / https://www.meldaproduction.com/MFreeFXBundle

I just installed all the free ones and only VST plugins and my program crash as soon as I choose a filter to add on my media source inside OBS. I never had any problems before I tried using the VST plugins. I wanted to use this on my voice recording or to media sources already recorded.

I hope anyone could give me some advice!

As far as I could read from OBS forums they told us that :

A short list of free plugins that were used to develop and test the VST support in OBS Studio can be found below. Your experiences may differ, but these are the ones we know have been tested to work in our environments:

• https://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/
• https://www.meldaproduction.com/download/plugins

You could start troubleshooting by keeping Windows up to date.

Don't know if it is related to your issue, but keeping drivers and operating systems up to date does help in troubleshooting problems when they arise.

Windows version: 10.0 build 17134 (revision: 885; 64-bit)

In particular this version is problematic when using OBS, for reasons that are unrelated to your crashing problem, but it's always a good practice.
