Question / Help OBS Issues After Windows Reinstall

I've recently had to reinstall my version of windows because of some problems I've been having with it. Everything is fine now in that regard, but I've been having some problems with OBS.

After streaming for about 5 minutes, OBS disconnected and began reconnecting me. I thought nothing of it and just changed the server I connected to. I started up again and got about 15 minutes after crashing. This time I noticed some dropped frames. I changed server again and got probably about 45 minutes before frames started dropping and I disconnected.

All of my settings are the same before reinstalling windows. I'm on the same internet, also and all my drivers are up to date. Any help would be magnificent.

Additional Info:

Windows 8.1

OBS 64x

2500 Bitrate/1280x720p

Upload speed around 6.5Mb/s

update network card drivers from your manufacturers motherboard website. I personally would stick with these unless something is breaking. Then if that is the case, use the newest network card driver from the actual manufacturer of the network card.

does changing ingest to newyork make a difference?
I've tried VA, NY and TX. I used to use VA until me and other people started having problems, so I switched to NY and it worked fine until I reinstalled windows. I've tried the majority of those servers.

In rare cases, I have found that you have to uninstall the network card driver in device manager (right click on the device and click uninstall with checking the box to remove driver). then reinstalling the driver again. This will sometimes resolve some issues with network card drivers using the windows default instead of the driver you pick to install. be aware, that this is not a task to be done unless you feel confident that you can restore the drivers if, for some reason, they dont work.
