OBS isnt recording multiple audio tracks

Ive been using OBS for a week now, and I just watched a video on how to use multiple audio tracks, in order to edit audio easier. I tried doing it, I did everything the video did, but instead of it recording my desktop audio, it only records my mic, i have desktop as track 1, and mic/aux as track 2.
I tried doing so much to change it, and it just doesn't seem to be working. Its really frustrating not knowing how to fix this, as it is really important issue needed to be solved. On the audio bar, it picks up on the sound as the bar goes up, and down, but it doesnt actually record it. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!

I have the exact same problem. Did you find an answer?
EDIT:
I actually found something... It is recording all of the audio on their tracks, but it doesn't show up in the playback unless you are in an editing software. I guess a fix to this would be to have everything record on track 1 and separate your mic and desktop audio onto tracks 3&4 so that way you can still edit the separate audios but still be able to hear everything during a normal playback.

The original poster was asked for more information and they did not return with it. However, I doubt your issue is the exact same.
mmmm they described the same thing that I was noticing with my problems. I would record and the audio bar would go up and down, but when I play it back I only hear my mic audio. That is still the case. ~Unless~ I go into a video editing software. Then all of the tracks show up there.
And its likely that its the exact same. I highly doubt that they managed to download a bugged OBS that just doesn't work right

What you describe is when you view the video with multitrack audio with the limited windows video player. If you use VLC player you'll see all the tracks can be listened / selected individually.
This was answered so many times that I can't recall how much many.

OP says track 1 was not recorded, which is a totally different issue, and probably caused by a misconfiguration on the advanced audio settings.
