Question / Help OBS isnt picking up my AT2020 XLR

hey guys

So im using a AT2020 XLR into my MR816x audio interface, phantom power on.

I checked the interface control pannel in windows and its seeing audio come through at a good level, and my music production software sees audio coming from the mic.

However windows 10 and hence OBS dont see any audio...

Any ideas what i can look into here? Basically the pro audio software sees the mic sound, but windows and OBS (also skype) dont

Wouldn't this question be more appropriate for whoever supports your audio hardware? If it's not working in Windows it's not an OBS issue.

Ive got it working, it was just an interface setting.

Follow up question, Is it normal to have the system volume and mic volume on 100% in OBS? or to cut one or both?

To get my mic audible clearly above the game i need to cut the system volume to 30%, this is with mic at max gain and 100% but wouldnt this make my stream comparatively quiet vs others?
