Bug Report OBS Isnt Catching 'What I Hear'

Title basically says it all. I use an Auzentech Xplosion which uses the CMedia chipset.

To the prob. The program isnt picking up what i hear. The default audio of my system. The Xplosion 7.1. Ive checked my windows settings, it is the only thing enabled in playback, and is obviously default.

What Ive done for a workaround is to set my mic to Xplosion 7.1 Speakers. This is fine an all, but removes a) my mic so viewers cant hear me and b) a second audio option.

Ive tried everything I can think of, but an easy solution would be to include the primary audio source choice in our options.

TY

edit: tried the daily release. still same issue. To further explain, the program will pick up on lets say teamspeak sound, but not in game sound. Very strange.

Make sure your apps / games are all set to be using the default device. The default device is what is recorded in OBS.

Most games dont have an option for choosing device, but I will go over my windows playback and recording devices with a fine toothed comb. Not expecting much, but I'll make sure it isn't something on my end.

use an audio enhancer/simulator like dfx audio enhancer the game will be forced to output to dfx speakers and obs will catch.
