Dear Community!
I have a problem with OBS Studio(20.1.2). When just open my OBS Studio (without any scene, just the reinstalled version) it takes 30-40% of my gtx 1080 WITHOUT streaming or recording.
I tried reinstalling OBS(with deleting my User Settings) but it was the same result.
I tried reinstalling Windows but nothing improved.
This happend after i changed my CPU and my mainboard(Now i have CPU: i7 8700k, Mainboard: Msi z370 gaming pro carbon). I am not sure if OBS Studio is supporting the i7 8700k or the Msi z370 gaming pro carbon, because they are very new on the market...
I couldnt find any Forums where people had the same problem.

Thanks for helping me!

My current PC:
CPU: i7 8700k
Mainboard: MSI Z370 gaming pro carbon
GPU: 1 Gainward gtx 1080(for my gaming monitor) and 1 Gainward gtx 1060(for 2 other monitors)
RAM: 32GB (2x 8192MB) Corsair Vengeance LPX schwarz DDR4-3466

Please check, if your GTX1080 is running in idle 2D clocks in that situation.
If so, 30-40% is normal. As soon, as the GPU clock jumps from 2D Mode (159MHz on my GTX1070) to clocks above 1000Mhz, this OB GPU usage will drop under 10%, which is normal.

If the GPU was running with low clock-speed (2D or Desktop mode), the GPU load of OBS will look high, although it is not.

OBS load on 139MHz GPU = 29%, OBS load on 1506MHz = 7% GPU load.

The first picture is only with desktop(its the same like yours).
The second picture is desktop with only obs running on my 2 monitor(with gtx 1060).
The third picture is desktop with obs running on my gaming monitor(with gtx 1080).
The fourth picture is desktop with obs running on my 3 monitor(with gtx 1060).

Ok, so there is definitely something not ok with your GPU load.
Maybe it is because of triple monitor and multi GPU setup.
I would remove the GTX1060 and test again.
