OBS is recognizing desktop audio but won´t capture it

Hi there,

as I mentioned in the title I have the problem that my OBS recognizes the desktop audio (the green bar is moving) but if I start the recording, there is no game sound in the recording.
I've been looking for a solution for hours and it's getting really frustrating as I've even reinstalled OBS several times and it hasn't fixed the problem either.

Any ideas? I would be very grateful for any advise or help in this matter.

Impossible to looking for solution for hours.
First: check Advanced Audio Properties, next Audio monitor, selected track to save (must be the same number in saved file)
Second: in recording mode, check which track has selected (remember don't use encoder stream to record).

It is possible. But I don´t want to discuss that matter here since I just want a functioning program. Doesn´t matter how long that takes.

I did what you told me and switched the encoder. Now I hear the game sound in the recording but it sounds chopped off.
What should I do next?

Nevermind, I finally found the solution!
There was an update in my GeForce Experience I haven´t noticed and after updating, everything was normal again.
Thank you anyways!
