Question / Help OBS is only recording the title screen of the game.

I understand that OBS is hard to use and I followed YouTube videos on how to use it. But everytime I tey to use it, all it does is record the title screen of the game instead of capturing the gameplay itself. Will someone please help me because I really want to use OBS.
