Question / Help OBS Is not Opening At All

Ok, I was going to stream a game using OBS but when I open OBS up it does not respond. I went into task manager and i found that it was in background processes. I have uninstalled and re-installed but that doesn't seem to work either. It does not come up with an error message at all.

I do not have an antivirus running in the background

My PC Specs are:
GPU: Geforce GTX 970
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz
PSU: EV3A 600 watt
OS: Windows 10
RAM: 16 GB

Ikr it's seems to be that me and u are like the only other people in the world who have come across this problem because it doesn't work now and it only starts working when I update it and there are never any updates

Have you solved this? When you say it "doesn't respond" you mean it opens a window but you can't interact with it? In my case it doesn't open anything and doesn't show to be started but does show in Task Manager. This is the issue I have:

Trying to get people to post on the same thread to make the devs realize there are more than one running into this out there :) If you think you have the same problem please post to that thread with logs of your "hanging" obs64.exe instance, that way the devs would have more information and try to find a "commonality" among our setups.
