Question / Help OBS is lagging *no matter what*

OBS is lagging no matter what! I have it at 1080p 60fps and once every second the frames drop to 1 then back to 60! You think it's the resolution? Wrong! I changed it to the lowest possible default setting and (surprise surprise) nothing happened. Also, this computer was restarted AND updated 2 days ago! That logfile does not contain a recording or streaming session. We need one to be able to see what's happening on the back end. That said, you have a fairly low-end CPU and GPU in that system; it's entirely possible that they are being over-taxed. We'll only know once we get a logfile with a live recording or streaming session included. There's a pinned thread at the top of the forum with instructions on how to provide one.

Additionally, you waited all of seven minutes before bumping your post. Everyone here is a volunteer, helping out when they have time. Some minimum of patience is required.
