Question / Help OBS is crashing my game

Sometimes it won't crash, but most of the time the game does crash. The game runs on DX9. I can force it into DX11 through config files and it works every time, but the game disconnects instead of crashes.

Is there anything in the log file that could help find this problem?
If there's any of information you need let me know.

Edit: I setup a hotkey for Game Capture. Tried it a couple times, and no crashes. Crossing my fingers.

Edit 2: Nope.. still crashes.

So I tried streaming the game with OverWolf and it worked just fine. However, OverWolf is a laggy POS.

I can't seem to reproduce it here. I installed the game, configured OBS to window capture the lobby and game capture the game. Entered and exited the tutorial several times, it showed up fine in OBS and no crashing to be found :(.

Check to make sure you have no other conflicting hooks running, such as TeamSpeak overlay, FRAPS, MSI / Asus OSD programs, etc.

I use MSI for overclocking. Do you think that's the problem?
I'm also running windows 8.1

MSI Afterburner? That can sometimes interfere due to the hooks. Try without it.

I tried without it, but still had crashes. Maybe something is still running in the background for it, idk.
Fraps also causes crashing so I tried without that too. Same problem.
