OBS install error - files used by Asus Nodejs Web Framework

Hi

OBS install error - "OBS files used by Asus Nodejs Web Framework"
See screenshot attached.
Edge is easy to close (only open cause I'm on this forum), but I have Asus ROG laptop with Asus Armour crate etc ... Tried closing Asus Node JS but it just instantly restarts, so how do I get past this to be able to install OBS?

Uninstall Armoury Crate. Get rid of it. Do you really need Armoury Crate? This is a bloatware with tons of drivers, services, packages that don't serve any productive purpose on your system. It tries to look cool for whatever reason, but actually serves no purpose. If you don't rely on it, if you don't really need it, uninstall it. There is an Armoury Crate uninstaller tool available for download from Asus.

Use this uninstaller tool, don't try to manually uninstall all the pieces. After uninstalling, to prevent Windows from installing it again automatically, enter the BIOS of your PC and locate the setting to disable auto-install of Armoury Create.

I tried to research how to temporarily stop its services to free locked files, but I wasn't successful. It's just too many components working against each other and restarting/influencing each other.

One immediate benefit from uninstalling AC is a sligthtly longer battery power time, since there are some background processes not running and using up system resources any more.

Thanks for your message. Yeah generally I hate bloatware, however I recently got this ROG Strix laptop obviously with Armory Crate Pre-installed ... and although I'd be tempted to uninstall it, honestly also probably more concerned that it would cause much larger issues than just not being able to install OBS.
I looked into several articles about uninstalling and although there is the Asus tool, it still seems recommened NOT to permanently remove it Especially for ROG laptops as it would cause functioanlity issues because it's so deply intergrated ...
Thus ideally would like to find an "easier" workaround for now to be able to install OBS without remving Armory Crate, at least for now.
Use my laptop for work so can;t afford anything going majorly wrong with it technically.

If you fear uninstalling bloatware, I cannot help. It's not providing vital services to your laptop. All the vital things are independent from it. It's also not "deeply integrated". That's just a different word for: "I don't know what it does, but since it came preinstalled, it must be important".

no need to be patronizing, as shown above I have good reason to be concerned. Deeply intergrated is what tech support of laptop supplier told me, control GPU/CPU optimally. But thanks anyway dude

What should we do? I think deleting the armoury crate is too risky but how long should we wait for this to get fix? I just bought the laptop and this is very disappointing.

I have a Asus mobo, Armoury Crate has never been installed. Never will. If Asus ever gets hacked say goodbye to your PC.

I found a good way to do this, you open your computer's task manager and find it, right click on “end task” and then quickly hit retry at the install retry spot and it will install successfully. If the installation fails, it's because it starts up again automatically, just force it to end again and install quickly!

点击-搜索ASUS 主板驱动 找到后直接卸载，程序Armoury Crate或是ASUS AI Suite 3下载不会对电脑造成影响
如果卸载华硕驱动程序后再次安装obs跳出Microsoft Edge在调用，按住键盘ctrl+shift+esc 在进程里将所有Microsoft Edge全部结束进程，之后再次安装obs即可完成安装，2025/6/7，15：32分完成以上操作完成安装。
