Hey guys I have been recording with these settings for a while now and they have worked fine but the past week I have no longer been able to use them due to high encoding which then causes the videos to lag, I am local recording for youtube in 1080p 60fps using recommended settings I got from this website my pc specs are: i7 4790k @4ghz, msi gtx 970, hyperx 16gb 1600mhz ram, 250gb samsung ssd, 250gb recording drive, 1tb games drive.
Obs settings are as follows: Max Bitrate: 3500, Buffer Size: 0, use CBR unchecked, local recording mp4, 1920x1080 no downscaling, 60fps, use multithreaded optimization enabled, Process Priority Class: Normal, Scene Buffering Time: 700, x264 CPU Preset: VeryFast, Encoding Profile: Main, Keyframe interval: 2.
I recorded a normal game for 5 minutes to get the log.
