I've seen on other peoples streams in league of legends persay, on their screen they have a link to their twitter or facebook or just a sponsored advertisement somewhere. I was wondering how to achieve this on my stream?

Right-click the sources box then click on Add then Text. From there, you can input any text you want and display it on stream, such as your Twitter link.

Also you can create a graphic (I prefer PNG as it has a built-in alpha channel for smooth transparency) and just set it as an image/bitmap layer. Can also apply transparency from there to act as a 'watermark'.
If you have multiple 'sponsors' you can also set up an image slideshow; I haven't done this one (as I have no need for it just yet) but I'd assume it works much the same way.
