Question / Help OBS Help, New to Streaming

Um, i'm not sure where to begin, i've tried streaming before on my other laptop and it was fine, now that I have this one it's a bit difficult, it's Windows 7. Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II P360 Dual-Core Processor 2.30 GHz. 32 bit operating system

Would it just be better if I didn't stream?

I've tried to stream WoW, but everytime i streamed yesterday it kept saying high encoding. I don't have OBS Project, I have the other version that's on the left.

Judging from your processor, the high encoding messages seem right. You will need a more powerful pc to be able to stream.

I see, it would work for a bit, then it would get laggy, and I had friends trying to help me figure it out, but they have better computers than I do, well that stinks lol.

I have an i7-4790, Nvidia GTX 960, MSI Z97 gaming 5 and the best internet money can buy. I had OBS working flawless for 3 days and now everytime I start OBS it cause in game frame drops of about 20-30fps leaving me with 11 fps or lower. It just causes unplayable games and unatchabke streams. I need help please. Sorry I didn't know how to start a new thread from my phone.

My upload speed is 23Mpbs

HEY at least you can stream, I wanted to try and stream so I could start my own channel, but I guess I need a better computer.

I do know your struggle. I had to completely rebuild my pc to start streaming. Streaming is a tough road. Upgrade a little at a time. I wish you the best.
