Hello Everyone,
I hope all is well. This is my first post here so if you all could please help me out, I would truly appreciate it. I've been streaming over on twitch for the past few months and I never really had any complaints from my viewers. So yesterday while I was streaming, it seemed like I was hit with an EMP because my internet(Spectrum) just went down, I got an OBS notification saying it was disconnected, just chaos out of nowhere.
So I restarted my router and the entire night, I couldn't stream at all, it would start dropping frames immediately. The next morning, it started acting right again and the Spectrum guy came later in the day, reset my router again and messed with a filter on my line. I tried to stream again, everything was going ok for the first few minutes then EMP again. I reset the router again the way he did (hold reset button for 30 seconds) and I'm not dropping frames or anything. But some of my viewers were saying the stream looked really grainy now and I never had that complaint. One told me it would always look super clean, now it's super grainy. I was messing with settings after the first EMP to see if I could fix it and I used to always stream on:
Output Mode: Simple
Video Bitrate: 2500
Encoder: Software (x264)
Audio Bitrate: 160
Base (Canvas) Resolution: 1920x1080
Output (Scaled) Resolution: 1920x1080
Downscale Filter: Bicubic (Sharpened scaling, 16 samples)
Common FPS Values: 60
This is what I would stream at forever and never got any complaints. After watching a ton of videos and everything, everyone said to use Output mode: Advanced. So this is where I need help, my videos are located at, https://www.twitch.tv/butterballin5/videos/all if you wanted to take a look for yourself. But I'm trying to get the best settings for the internet, PC I have and get rid of this grainy thing that's going on. I used to think I had a pretty ok PC until this hahaha. I'll include my current log file since that's what seems to be what everyone usually asks for.
Please let me know what you think, what settings you believe would work best for me. I'll also include my results from testmy.net. This is extremely frustrating so any help would truly be appreciated!
