Howdy,
I'm using a dual PC set up for streaming on Twitch. Everything was roses when I last streamed, however today when we went live OBS was not picking up/broadcasting game sound.
The only difference between last cast & this cast was I installed Night Dev's Follower Alert.
OBS is seeing/hearing my Mic (which goes through a Steinberg UR28M Interface) & my viewers can hear me ramble on & on.
The casting/encoding machine 'does' see/hear the game sound. I know this, because I can see the game sound in my software mixer (DSPMixFX) on the OBS machine.
Windows “Sound” is seeing/hearing the Microphone, however it also isn't indicating (via the level meter on the Sound > Recording tab) it hears the game sound (even though as I already stated the computer is seeing/hearing it as it is visible in the Mixer's Channels [Software Mixer]).
To put it simply the Casting/Encoding machine is receiving all sound i.e. Mic & Game Sound, but OBS is only indicating it is seeing the Mic.
