Question / Help OBS Hard Lock Ups My PC!

So Recently Ive been hard locking up while streaming and assumed it may have been a bad driver or hardware issue after alot of testing my hardware / drivers, after reformatting I realized it was obs. Just 5 mins ago I turned it on to record a hacker in a game I was playing. Immediately after turning off stream(3 mins tops) I hard locked up so this just confirmed my suspicion on OBS. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen. Theres no bluescreen its just a hard lockup crashes my windows and requires a hard stop / restart

This is likely a driver / hardware issue, OBS does not run any kernel code so it cannot lock up your PC. OBS may cause other components to fail due to the amount of hardware it interacts with, but it is not the cause itself.
