I have a GTX1080 and two identical GSYNC monitors.
When I open OBS, if I put the OBS window on my second monitor and click it (give it focus), my second monitor loses input and goes black, then finds signal again a few seconds later. If I keep OBS with focus, it will cycle through losing and regaining signal forever. If I click something else so OBS no longer has focus, the issue will stop immediately when the monitor regains signal. Does not matter if what I give focus to is on Monitor 1 or Monitor 2, so long as OBS does not have focus. Only happens when OBS is on my secondary monitor, does not happen if OBS is on my main monitor. Only happens when GYSNC is enabled, and happens whether GSYNC is enabled for Fullscreen or Fullscreen+Windowed regardless.
This only started happened recently in the last week or so, I believe after the last Nvidia driver update, but I'm not 100% certain on it being related.
