OBS GPU Usage = High overall FPS Drop when opened / streaming / recording ?

Hello folks,

after using OBS since years now, I've got a question: Is it normal that OBS decrease the FPS from all games in such a way? I'm using a All-in-one-Setup so I'm playing and recording/streaming from the same PC. In case of that, my system is configured as follows:

My general problem is the "high amount" of lost frames when I'm using OBS, I made a lot of test with different games, the general drop is around 20 fps overall when OBS (+ recording and streaming). First of all, here are my OBS settings:

OBS will be started as x64 and admin rights.

As I wrote above, I got the first FPS hint after opening OBS just in the "backgorund" (got 4 monitors, so I can see the window) with activated preview. To use an actual game I choose cyberpunk.

Here the FPS without OBS opened:

FPS when only OBS (with preview activated) will be open:

FPS with streaming test mode (using NVENC) and activated preview:

FPS with streaming test mode and recording and ativated preview (dunno why the FPS make a "hop" here):

(I've added the logs of my last streams also)

After that I tested with streaming test mode, recording and deactivated preview:

I get a little boost of FPS (around 2-3) if I minimize OBS in the task bar, but that's nothing what I prefer, because I can't read the chat and see if my recording is still running or my cam is activated or not ...

Here is my overall CPU-GPU-load with running Cyberpunk and OBS with all features:
cyberpunk_cpu_gpu_load.png

On the side of OBS (with streaming & recording) I've got the following results.

Focus on game, OBS in the background, preview activated:
game_focused.png

=> decent FPS drops in OBS-recording/streaming, no encoding warnings

Focus on OBS, game in the background, preview activated:
game_background.png

=> heavy FPS drops in OBS-recording/streaming, encoding warning

Focus on OBS, game in the background, preview deactivated:
cyberpunk_with_obs_open_streamtest_recording_preview_deactivated_game_background.png

=> decent FPS drops in OBS-recording/streaming, encoding warning

When I'm using Focus on game, OBS in the background, preview deactivated there are no FPS drops in OBS-recording/streaming and no encoding warnings.

So I know, OBS needs around 5% of GPU load to working fine, but to be honest, I won't use a framelimiter or smth else because I need the power for the games. What I can't unterstand is the FPS hint when only open OBS by playing a game without recording/streaming it. In Cyberpunk the FPS decrease will be decent, but I've got games like Mafia I Rework from 2020 where the decrease is around 20 FPS, that's a lot of performance I'm losing here.

I've added the logs from my last 3 streams (Escape from Tarkov, Atlas and The Forest) so maybe somebody will find a problem in here? Escape from Tarkov is special, because I've got an GPU load from around 80% so I can run the video preview, but sometime I've got an encoding warning when I'm using painkillers (which sharpened the picture) and running through a wood with a lot of gras, without getting an GPU load of 96% or smth higher. But I've heard that's a general problem of the encoder to encoding the color green.

What I also tried:
- delete Scenes/footage I don't use anymore/so often to clear the scenes
- using a new scene with game capture only, without overlays or smth (doesn't run better)

Long story short: Somebody can help me to figure out what's going on here? Every help will be great.
