OBS gets stuck on "Stopping recording" when i try to stop the recording

This happens only when i have 120fps recording setting, and would like to know if there is a fix to this or do I have to record at 60

and when i close down obs while the "stopping recording" is there, the obs recording is still going in task manager and when i open up obs again it gives the notification, obs is already running.


I need 120 fps so I can have smooth slow mo shots.

What maybe happening is because you got such a high bitrate (200,000... why so much and did you test lower values?) it is overloading OBS and doesn't let the UI thread from being interrupted. Try turning the bitrate down to a more reasonable value. For 1920x1080, turn it down to less than 15,000.

Turned it down, problem still there, I think I put 1 too many 0's because i wanted it at 20k
